Rhizobium – Technical
Rhizobium is a symbiotic nitrogen-fixing bacterium that forms nodules on the roots of leguminous crops. Through this association, it fixes atmospheric nitrogen and converts it into ammonia, a usable form for plants. This enhances plant growth, reduces the need for nitrogenous fertilizers, and improves soil fertility, making Rhizobium biofertilizer an essential input for sustainable legume production.
